Celebrating Mothers Everywhere!

A mom can be a great friend, a guiding light and a teacher. One thing’s for sure: no one can take her place. This Mother’s Day, I want to take the time to honor and thank the ones who have helped make us who we are. The last 12+ months have been trying and traumatic for many families; many of us could not visit or have lost loved ones. Today is a new day!

Here are some ways to celebrate:

• Remind the mothers you know and love how much they mean to you. Give them a hug!
• Plan something special for your own mother, or a mother-figure in your life.
• If your mom has passed away, as mine has, she is missed dearly. Keep her close by remembering all of the moments in the past that you were able to share. Hopefully, that brings a smile to your face. 

If you’re a mom, we salute you! Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue doing to make this world a better place, both now and for future generations.
